I recently had the privilege of photographing a truly special event organized by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), featuring some high-profile guests, including the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Christopher Luxon, as well as The Rt Hon Steve Reed, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and The Rt Hon Jonathan Reynolds, Secretary of State for Business and Trade, President of the Board of Trade. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of purpose—a perfect blend of formal occasion and
heartfelt celebration.

Honoring New Zealand’s Spirit and Culture
One of the most unforgettable moments came early on, when a group of New
Zealanders performed a traditional haka. This powerful cultural performance brought a unique energy and authenticity to the evening, setting a respectful and spirited tone that resonated with everyone in the room. The haka wasn’t just a performance—it was a proud reminder of New Zealand’s heritage and a meaningful way to honor the occasion.
